What is a reed diffuser and how does it work?
A reed diffuser is a flame-free, low-maintenance way to scent your space. Scented diffuser oil travels up the natural reeds and gently disperses fragrance into the air, providing a consistent aroma without the need for heat or electricity.
How long will my reed diffuser last?
Our 250ml reed diffusers typically last approximately 6 months, depending on room temperature, air flow, and how often you flip the reeds. Using fewer reeds will also slow diffusion for a lighter scent and longer life.
Where should I place my reed diffuser?
For best results, place your diffuser in a high-traffic area like an entryway, bathroom, or living room. These areas allow natural air circulation to help disperse the scent. Avoid placing near direct sunlight or heat, which can cause the oil to evaporate faster.
How do I use and maintain my diffuser?
- Remove the cap and insert the reeds into the diffuser bottle.
- Allow the reeds to absorb the oil for a few hours.
- For a stronger scent, flip the reeds every few days.
- Always place on a stable surface, and wipe up any spills to protect furniture.
Can I refill my diffuser?
Yes! We offer a 250mL & 500mL diffuser refill with new fibre reeds so you can top up your scent or switch to a new fragrance without buying a whole new set. Just rinse your bottle thoroughly if changing scents.
Are the oils safe and natural?
Our diffuser oils are made with high-quality fragrance blends, free from phthalates and parabens. While they're safe for home use, they should be kept out of reach of children and pets, and not ingested.

What if my diffuser arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry! Please email us at essence.365.sales@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the damage within 7 days of receiving your order. We’ll be happy to replace or refund your item in line with our return policy.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
How much does postage cost?
Postage is fixed at $12.50 and this will reflect in your cart before finalising your purchase.
